Course Project<\/p>\n
Introduction<\/p>\n

Task #2 Site Design and Interface Design<\/p>\n
Briefly describe your site contents and site design. For the interface design, describe how<\/p>\n
you take concerns about navigation issues, home page layout, main page layout, and page<\/p>\n
relations. Be sure to make it simple and convenient to use with sufficient features. For<\/p>\n
example, a feature of checking for valid email entering may be useful when user enters an<\/p>\n
email address.<\/p>\n
Task #3 Implementation<\/p>\n
Implement your design by any web development language (e.g., PHP, HTML, JavaScript,<\/p>\n
CSS, etc.); post your website on a web hosting site (e.g., x10hosting.com). Identify<\/p>\n
functions for server-side scripting and functions for the client-side. Usually, data<\/p>\n
validation type of functions (e.g., valid email address format, valid phone number format)<\/p>\n
should be on the client side so that wrong data input from users will not be transmitted to<\/p>\n
the server and therefore save the network traffic and processing time. Client-side<\/p>\n
scripting programs\u2019 source code is visible to clients. When you want to hide your source<\/p>\n
code from the users or when you need to save records on the server, you will need server-<\/p>\n
side scripting like PHP, where your PHP code will be invisible to the whole world and<\/p>\n
will generate dynamic HTML contents for web pages.<\/p>\n
Hosting site such as x10hosting is acceptable, as it provides complete web hosting service<\/p>\n
package with full control to the web developers. Using hosting sites such as WIX is NOT<\/p>\n
allowed, due to the fact that such sites don\u2019t give you full access to your website source<\/p>\n
code files and configuration files; they don\u2019t support server-side scripting, such as PHP.<\/p>\n
For this task, you will need to provide 1) URL and 2) a ZIP file of all related web files as<\/p>\n
proof.<\/p>\n
Final Report<\/p>\n
This report should address the objective(s) of your web application and describe its<\/p>\n
functions and features with screen shots about the interface. Contents from task1 and<\/p>\n
task2 should be well organized into the final report. The report shall also describe the<\/p>\n
main functions\/methods in the program as well as the actual interface of the website with<\/p>\n
screenshots for task3. The report should have a conclusion part to wrap up what you have<\/p>\n
successfully done, what you have learned\/observed, and what you would like to do as<\/p>\n
future work.<\/p>\n
