\nFocused SOAP Note and Patient Case Week 4 (your nursing study bay)
\nPsychiatric notes are a way to reflect on your practicum
\nexperiences and connect them to the didactic learning you gain
\nfrom your NRNP courses. Focused SOAP notes, such as the ones
\nrequired in this practicum course, are often used in clinical
\nsettings to document patient care.
\nFor this Assignment, you will document information about a
\npatient that you examined during the last three weeks, using the
\nFocused SOAP Note Template provided. You will then use this
\nnote to develop and record a case presentation for this patient.
\nTo Prepare
\nReview this week\u2019s Learning Resources and consider the insights
\nthey provide. Also review the Kaltura Media Uploader resource in
\nthe left-hand navigation of the classroom for help creating your
\nself-recorded Kaltura video.
\nSelect a patient of any age (either a child or an adult) that you
\nexamined during the last 3 weeks.
\nCreate a Focused SOAP Note on this patient using the template
\nprovided in the Learning Resources. There is also a completed
\nFocused SOAP Note Exemplar provided to serve as a guide to
\nassignment expectations.
