\nMicrosoft\u00ae \u00a0Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, and other cloud-based Customer Resource \u00a0Management (CRM) solutions are utilized by companies to increase sales, \u00a0improve customer service, and provide a host of other benefits. Dynamic \u00a0digital dashboards are graphical user interface (GUI) tools that are \u00a0present in CRM, Enterprise Resource Management (ERP), and other \u00a0solutions that can depict a company\u2019s performance metrics in real-time. \u00a0Executive dashboards enable managers to view disparate data without \u00a0having to open up and view multiple applications in different windows or \u00a0on different screens. Dashboards can be implemented out-of-the-box or \u00a0customized to fit a management\u2019s purposes and desires.
\nFor this practice assignment, you are a recent ERAU graduate and the \u00a0newly-hired Helpant to the VP of Sales of a large-scale wholesale \u00a0aviation parts business. You have been tasked to create a document with a \u00a0mockup of a proposed executive dashboard. This display will be utilized \u00a0to provide data to an IT consulting firm that has been retained to \u00a0implement a Microsoft\u00ae Dynamics CRM solution with customized executive \u00a0dashboards.

\nOpen a Word document and select \u201cLandscape\u201d in the \u201cOrientation\u201d selection of the \u201cLayout\u201d tab on the toolbar.
\nSelect six different chart types chosen from the \u201dChart\u201d selection \u00a0data in the \u201cInsert\u201d tab on the MS Word toolbar. After you select a \u00a0chart type from the list and select \u201cOK,\u201d a Microsoft\u00ae Excel worksheet \u00a0labeled \u201cChart in Microsoft Word\u201d automatically opens with cells \u00a0containing pre-set numerical data from the MS Word default chart \u00a0example. You are required to modify the pre-set numerical data in each \u00a0of the six worksheets. To replace the pre-set numerical data, use your \u00a0ERAU Student ID number and insert from one to four digits using any \u00a0combination.
